Gobustan audioguide

The Audio Gobustan mobile application, designed to inform each guest in
detail about the various cave paintings of the Gobustan State Historical and
Artistic Reserve, contains many audio guides. There are about 6,000 drawings
created from the Mesolithic to the Middle Ages. Due to the versatility of the
application and setting up a thematic filter, each museum guest can make
suitable choice: Monuments of Gobustan of the internal museum or Cave
paintings of the external museum.A special place in the application is occupied
by audio guides dedicated to drawings, found in three sections of a rocky plateau
located on a vast low-mountain territory between the southeastern spurs of the
Greater Caucasus Mountains and the Caspian Sea. Inhabited caves, traces of
settlements and tombs, indicating a densely populated area, discovered here
once, also occupy one of the special places in the application.Mobile application
contains audio guides about the most interesting cave paintings of the Gobustan
Nature Reserve, which provides a detailed overview of the paintings found mainly
in caves and rock fragments. Each thematic audio guide contains photographs,
describing scenes of hunting, ritual dance, farming, as well as images of various
animals, boats and symbolic signs.The Audio Gobustan application, supported on
Android platform, can be downloaded for free. After installing the application,
each museum guest will have public access to the entire list of audio guides
without additional registration.
